Marche En Fer Awakens – Critical Water Technology – Port au Prince, Haiti

The famous iron markets in Port-au-Prince Haiti come to life on the one year anniversary of the Haiti earthquake.

Jamieson Slough led a strong group of Haitians and Americans to support projects for the United Nations, USAID, Red Cross, multiple NGOs, the Gov’t of Haiti and San Diego State University.

The team celebrated the one year anniversary of the earthquake by providing the water systems for Marche En Fer, the Iron Markets. The markets provide over 250 local entrepreneurs a place to sell their goods.

Jamieson Slough founded and led a strong group of Haitians and Americans to support projects for the United Nations, USAID, Red Cross, multiple NGOs, the Gov’t of Haiti and San Diego State University. They provided equipment that provided up to 10,000 gallons of clean water a day for the people and communities across Haiti.

Clients often approach Next Space Solutions with a general idea of what they need, and this project was no different. We were able to jump right in with our renewable water energy expertise and really helped Life-Giving Force to grow and evolve. Their business affected tens of thousands of orphans, NGOs, and communities throughout the devastation.
